Chris Botti & Sting: What Are You Doing The Rest Of Your Life?

Chris Botti live, featuring Sting. Billy Childs on piano, Billy Kilson on drums, James Genus on Bass, Mark Whitfield on guitar, and Gil Goldstein conducting.

Trumpeter Chris Botti got a Grammy for his work with Sting on this song, which was written by the classically educated French jazz musician Michel Legrand, and the lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman. This song (as most of Legrand's work) is about atmospheres, moods, and tenses. Sting's phrasing, style, voice are tailor-made for this kind of music.

Sting's versatility allows him to rotate through almost all the musical genres.
His collaborations with Gil Evans, Tom Jobim and the Soundtrack of "Leaving Las Vegas."

I like Sting doing this kind of music better than most things he has done.
Since the Police anyway. The Police really great.
